Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking our tours or Urdu classes.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

  • Service Provider (referred to as “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Talha Abdullah, a tour guide and Urdu language instructor based in Lahore, Pakistan.

  • Client or You means the individual or group booking tours or Urdu classes through our services.

  • Tours refers to guided travel experiences throughout Pakistan, including but not limited to heritage walks, food tours, mountain expeditions, and cultural experiences.

  • Urdu Classes refers to online or in-person Urdu language instruction services.

  • Booking means a confirmed reservation for a tour or Urdu class.

  • Website refers to this website where our services are advertised and bookings can be initiated.

  • Service refers to the tours, Urdu classes, and related services we provide.

Booking and Payment Terms

Tour Bookings

By booking a tour with us, you agree to the following:

  • All tour bookings must be confirmed via WhatsApp, email, or through our booking form
  • A deposit may be required to secure your booking
  • Full payment is typically required before the tour begins, unless otherwise agreed
  • Prices are quoted in USD and may vary based on group size and specific requirements
  • Tours are subject to availability and weather conditions

Urdu Class Bookings

  • Online classes: $10/hour
  • In-person classes (Lahore): $30/hour
  • Payment is typically required before each session or on a package basis
  • Class schedules are flexible and arranged by mutual agreement

Cancellation Policy {#cancellation}

Tour Cancellations by Client

  • More than 14 days before tour: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
  • 7-14 days before tour: 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days before tour: No refund
  • No-show: No refund

Urdu Class Cancellations by Client

  • More than 24 hours before class: Full refund or rescheduling available
  • Less than 24 hours before class: No refund, but rescheduling may be possible
  • No-show: No refund

Cancellations by Service Provider

If we must cancel a tour or class due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, safety concerns, illness, etc.):

  • Full refund will be provided, or
  • Alternative dates will be offered

We are not liable for additional expenses incurred by clients due to cancellations (flights, hotels, etc.).

Client Responsibilities

By booking our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate personal information for booking purposes
  • Arrive on time for tours and classes
  • Follow safety instructions and local laws during tours
  • Respect local customs, culture, and religious sites
  • Maintain appropriate travel insurance for tours
  • Ensure you have necessary visas and travel documents
  • Inform us of any medical conditions or dietary restrictions that may affect the tour
  • Behave respectfully toward the guide, other participants, and local communities

Liability and Safety

Tours

  • We take every precaution to ensure your safety during tours
  • However, travel inherently involves some risk, and you participate at your own risk
  • We are not liable for injuries, accidents, loss of property, or illness during tours
  • We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance
  • We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances
  • Accommodation and transportation will be the best available, but standards may vary in remote areas

Urdu Classes

  • Online classes require a stable internet connection (client’s responsibility)
  • We are not liable for technical issues on the client’s end

Intellectual Property

  • Course materials, tour itineraries, and content on this website are our intellectual property
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our materials for commercial purposes without permission

Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claims arising from our services shall be limited to the amount you paid for the specific tour or class in question.

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Delays or cancellations due to weather, natural disasters, political unrest, or other force majeure events
  • Actions of third-party service providers (hotels, transportation, restaurants)
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings
  • Medical expenses or injuries sustained during tours

Photography and Media

  • We may take photographs or videos during tours for promotional purposes
  • By participating in tours, you consent to being photographed/filmed
  • If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us in advance
  • You retain rights to your own photographs taken during tours

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Tours and services are provided in accordance with Pakistani laws and regulations.

Disputes Resolution

If you have any concern or dispute about our services, we encourage you to contact us directly to resolve the matter amicably. We are committed to finding fair solutions for all parties.

Age Requirements

  • Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on tours
  • For Urdu classes, minors may participate with parental consent

Group Bookings

  • Group discounts may be available for tours (contact us for details)
  • Group size is typically limited to 1-4 people unless otherwise arranged
  • Larger groups require advance notice and may incur additional costs

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Talha Abdullah regarding the use of our services.
