Tour Itinerary

An extended adventure through Pakistan's mountain paradise and beyond

Day 1: Islamabad to Besham

Depart Islamabad and drive along the Karakoram Highway. Stop at scenic viewpoints and Taxila archaeological sites. Overnight in the best available accommodation in Besham.

Day 2: Besham to Karimabad (Hunza)

Continue the scenic drive through dramatic mountain landscapes. Pass through Chilas and arrive in Karimabad, the heart of Hunza Valley. Acclimatization and rest.

Day 3: Karimabad - Baltit & Altit Forts

Explore the 700-year-old Baltit Fort with stunning views of Rakaposhi. Visit Altit Fort and its beautiful gardens. Walk through the charming old town and local bazaar.

Day 4: Eagle's Nest & Duikar Village

Hike to Eagle's Nest viewpoint (2,800m) for breathtaking panoramic views of the valley and surrounding peaks. Visit traditional Duikar village and interact with local families.

Day 5: Attabad Lake & Gulmit

Boat ride on the stunning turquoise Attabad Lake. Visit Gulmit village and the historic Ondra Fort. Explore local handicraft shops.

Day 6: Passu & Borith Lake

Visit the iconic Passu Cones and cross the famous Passu suspension bridge. Explore Borith Lake and enjoy the serene mountain atmosphere. Optional short hikes.

Day 7: Khunjerab Pass Excursion

Full day trip to Khunjerab Pass (4,693m), the highest paved international border crossing in the world. Experience the China-Pakistan border and stunning high-altitude landscapes.

Day 8: Nagar Valley Exploration

Cross to Nagar Valley via the historic Nagar-Hunza bridge. Visit Hopper Glacier viewpoint, explore traditional villages, and experience the distinct Nagar culture.

Day 9: Hoper Valley & Glacier

Trek to Hoper Glacier and enjoy spectacular views of Rakaposhi and Diran peaks. Visit local communities and learn about traditional mountain life.

Day 10: Free Day in Hunza

Leisure day for optional activities: visit local apricot orchards, explore more villages, shop for handicrafts, or simply relax and soak in the mountain views.

Day 11: Hunza to Gilgit

Drive to Gilgit, the capital of Gilgit-Baltistan. Visit Kargah Buddha (7th century rock carving), explore Gilgit bazaar, and experience the vibrant local culture.

Day 12: Gilgit to Chilas

Journey back along the Karakoram Highway. Stop at the ancient rock carvings at Chilas and enjoy views of Nanga Parbat (8,126m), the world's 9th highest peak.

Day 13: Chilas to Islamabad

Return drive to Islamabad with stops at scenic viewpoints. Arrive in the evening and overnight in the best available accommodation in Islamabad.

Day 14: Departure or Islamabad Exploration

Optional final day to explore Islamabad (Faisal Mosque, Pakistan Monument) or depart for your onward journey.
